Training Session for A12 Blokkade Action, The Hague 9th September
An invitation and call to action from Scientist Rebellion Nijmegen
On behalf of the Radboud Centre for Sustainability Challenges, we share this call to action and invitation to a training session with Scientist Rebellion Nijmegen.
To all Radboud employees and students,
To demand an immediate end to fossil subsidies, daily demonstrations near the A12 in The Hague are planned starting Saturday 9th of September from 12:00h onwards. To read more about the background of these demonstrations and why it is necessary see here. Scientist Rebellion Nijmegen joins this call for action and hopes that a lot more Radboud academics, staff, and students will do so, too!
To show the large support from Nijmegen and make it easier for everyone who agrees that more needs to be done to fight global warming, we will travel together to The Hague. For now, we’ll meet on both Saturday (09-09-2023) and Sunday (10-09-2023) at 9:00am at Central Station Nijmegen. The train is leaving Nijmegen at 9:13am (with one change in Utrecht). You can register here in order to receive more information and updates about possible changes of plans, preparations, etc.
