Challenging the notion of property in the law, in practice, and in the soul
A lunch lecture by Adam Calo
23 May, 12.30-13.15, Pop-Up Forest
The way we structure the ownership of things is an overlooked root driver of environmental problems. The problem is, that dominant notions of property are deeply embedded in the law, in practice and, most troubling, in our minds. In this talk, Adam Calo will “make strange” the concept of property, reveal how property relations restrict the possibility of sustainability practice, and invite the audience to think of pathways for change.
